What PressPlay Means to Me...
I woke up this morning and walked out to the beach. Our family has been in Costa Rica for 3 weeks now and I am just getting accustomed to the idea that I will be living here for 3 months. The smell of the ocean is so strong and pleasant, it relaxes me. As I walked on the beach, I silently thanked my father in heaven for the blessing I have experienced over the past 5 years. It has been quite a ride. There have been so many positive life experiences financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
As I reflect on my many blessings I realize how much I have grown. Perspective is a great teacher. I am now 41 years old. My birthday was about a month ago. It is hard to believe that I am now in the best shape of my life. I have a solid understanding of nutrition and sustainable lifestyle built around eating wholesome foods and exercising regularly in a way that I find enjoyable. I hike, mountain bike and paddleboard regularly. Treasure is still trying to get me to pickup running and possibly do a triathlon, but I am holding out. Probably just pride really. I don’t know how she puts up with me sometimes. I can feel my muscles work for me and with ease as I walk back to our villa. Treasure is out on the porch with Jackson (13) and Chole (10). Madison (19) will be leaving on a mission soon but she is still inside sleeping.
I have a busy day today.
Treasure and I have agreed to take Jackson and Chloe snorkeling this afternoon at a beach about 20 minutes from the villa. We have heard a lot about it. Jackson and Chloe have to take their Spanish lessons from the local tutor this morning and also finish their other work.
Treasure has a meeting with one of our suppliers for the new tent we are developing and I have my weekly meeting with our team leaders for the PressPlay Network. We now have 50 pods operating in 8 different states, WOW!
We will be going over numbers for the agents and discussing our final numbers for the first quarter and discussing the possibility of expanding our network to the east coast.
Our team produced over $250,000,000 in sales last year and we are on pace to beat that in the second quarter of this year. We finally found the right talent and things have exploded. We have seen viral growth of our team as our message on living life on purpose has attracted amazing people. Our law firm in AZ is profitable as well, but we are still working to expand that concept across our network. We have kept that on the back burner, I just don’t think we find it quite as exciting as the other business interests we have engaged in.
The most exciting thing scheduled for today is a meeting Treasure and I will both be on with our new event manager for our Fit Trip Adventures company we started 3 years ago. We now have 4 annual trips each year. The company is profitable, but that’s really not the point. It’s our passion. We have found what we love to do and this is it and the fact that we make money doing it is almost impossible to believe.
We will be buying the first property for our retreats by the end of this year using the profits we have made for the past two years for the retreat home. The house is a 5 bedroom beach house here in Costa Rica. I am filled with gratitude.
